Our Team

Dwain started Sammons Insurance in 1986. He is licensed for property and casualty, accident and sickness, and life insurance. He is originally from Eatonton and has a farm there. He started out as a Cotton States agent in Macon, Georgia and moved to Sandersville in 2000. In July of 2007 he became an independent agent, which has allowed him more flexibility in serving his customers.

Julie has worked in insurance since 2001 and she has been with Sammons since 2015. She is the office manager for our Sandersville office as well as a licensed property and casualty, accident and sickness, and life agent.

Nick has worked in insurance since June 2019 when he started with Sammons. He is a licensed property and casualty, accident and sickness, and life agent.

Katheryn has worked in insurance since 1996. She has been with Sammons Insurance since 2001. She is a licensed agent for both property and casualty, accident and sickness, and life insurance.

Tanner, our newest team member, joined us in June 2026. He is working towards becoming a licensed agent, and provides assistance wherever needed.

Melinda started in insurance in 1992. She is a licensed property and casualty agent.

Ashley joined our team in October 2021. In addition to overseeing daily operations as the manager of our Dublin office, she is a licensed Property & Casualty agent who writes life insurance policies and specializes in workers' compensation.

Anna has worked in insurance since February 2021 when she started with Sammons. She is a licensed property and casualty agent.

Billy has been in insurance for 48 years. He is also in our Dublin office.

Savannah joined our office in October of 2025 and is working towards becoming a licensed agent. She provides phone and general office support whenever needed.
